Q:I've had these lights for about a year. They come on bright, but are dim, to off, in about 3-4 hours. Do the light bulbs inside need to be replaced?

Answer This Question
A: It could be the battery may need to be replaced or the unit is not getting maximum charge due to cloudy day. On high, they dim quicker. We get about 5 hours of light on full charge on high switch and longer if on low switch.

A: Hi Sue,
Thanks for the question. It is a typo in the title. It should say 4 Nature White LEDs. I'll have the title updated.

Q:I was wondering about the battery replacement. Nowhere it was mentioned when I purchased it.
Anyway thank you for the information about the battery, but where or how can I get the manual that
shows how to change the battery? The "Instructional Manual" doesn't say anything about the battery.
Thanks.

A: Unfortunately, there is no manual for instructions on removing the battery. To remove batteries simply unscrew the head screws on the lamp head.

A: Yes. Its a little time consuming. Remove the 4 screws that hold the glass cage to the charging unit then remove the 4 screws that hold the light emitting unit to the top of the light.

A: Hi Carol, This solar lamp includes 2 Lithium Batteries. (L2 1100mAh 3.2V LifeP04). They don't need serving. The batteries will last much longer than a standard NiCad Rechargeable battery which are on most solar products.

A: This does not come with poles - you have the wall mount and post mount.
You could easily mount to 4x4 treated lumber, galvanized piping (painted of course) or larger diameter PVC tubing. I would go with at least 3" so it doesn't sway in the wind.
