      Q:I want to use this as an installed light over the door of my RV. Does it have an off/on switch so it will not stay on at night as I drive down the road?

      A:  Hi TET1968! No, our lights do not come with a manual on/off switch. You can easily remove it from the bracket and store it while traveling. I would also recommend removing the batteries as well to avoid unnecessary activations if if is jostled. Thanks!

          A:  It is motion activated so if anything moves in front of it in the dark, it will come on. There is no on-off switch.

            Q:I'd like to use this in a closed cabinet which will be dark most of the time. Will this stay on? or only come on when motion is detected, then shut off?

            A:  it gets activated via motion...mine is in a dark bedroom and it activates with movement then goes off.

                A:  I believe it will shut off on it's own when no further motion is detected. I use them on my indoor staircase, and that has been my experience. Good Luck!!

                A:  Yes. They will not come on when the area has light.

                A:  yes, a little before you reach the step. Yellow light down doesn't blind you.
