            A:  My experience has been that the light will only detect motion at night. I use it in my bathroom and do not experience it coming on during the day, only at night.

                  A:  Hi Brun Thank you for reaching out. The batteries can be changed by removing the back cover of the unit and replacing the batteries. those require 4AA batteries. I hope this helps. best, Aliece
