A:  I just ordered a sample of the Gaudi Lux (with shiny spots) and the Gaudi Hex (no shine) tiles. While each of the tiles were definitely slippery when wet; the Gaudi Lux was extremely slippery as you would imagine seeing as how shiny areas are glass-like.

A:  It would be really pretty and dramatic as shower walls. For the floor and lip a smaller format black, beige or cream matte tile might be nice. The color and sheen of this tile will highlight other colors around it and looks nice with wood tones and muted colors. I'd choose something plain and mid tone.

A:  Yes, I looked at the color scales. However, they aren't the same color scale so I didn't find them very helpful. When you say mixed finish is that on each tile or are there different finishes on different tiles? Thank you!

A:  We purchased 6 cases of the white and everyone matched perfectly. They were all the same beautiful white color.

A:  This tile is so beautiful. I don't know if I can correctly answer your question because the use of mine was quite a small area and I didn't seal, as of yet. I use the Fushion grout so no sealing there. I would check with your Home Depot specialist in that department as they are very knowledgeable. The Merola is a gorgeous tile and if you can't get a definitive answer you may want to contact the mfg. However Home Depot specialists are very helpful. Good luck with your project.
