Q:Do I have to use a mounting board (1x4) for the track if I put wood backing in before I sheetrocked?
by|Mar 20, 2024
1 Answer
Answer This Question
A: Hello Mike, As long as the wood backing is as thick and sturdy as the mounting board then you can skip this step. If not as thick or as sturdy I would add the mounting board to make sure the door does not fall and possible injury anyone or damage the doors and walls.
