Questions and Answers for Lutron Skylark LED+ Dimmer Switch for Dimmable LED and Incandescent Bulbs, 150W LED/Single-Pole or 3-Way, Almond (SCL-153P-AL)
A: Hello, thank you or your inquiry. The SCL-153P Skylark LED dimmer in question is only rated for forward phase/TRIAC dimming and is not capable of controlling electronic low voltage (ELV) lighting. A comparable dimmer with this spec is Skylark model SELV-303P.

Q:An answer given for the Leviton SureSlide 660-Watt dimmer stated that the FEIT LED bulbs purchased from Costco hummed with that product. Does anyone know if the FEIT bulbs hum with this Lutron Skylark?

Answer This Question
A: I have never had one hum on me, but if I did would just change to the Lutron Diva is a better dimmer anyway. Have never liked the Leviton dimmers, to many bad run-ins with them

Q:Will the Skylark 150 watt Single-Pole/3 Way CFL-LED dimmers fit in a standard 2 switch wall box with a standard on-off switch? 2.2 In seems too wide.

Answer This Question
A: You will be able to fit the SCL-153P-GR in a two gang box with a standard on/off switch. There are 3 metal tabs on either side of the dimmer however and you may need to remove the inside tabs as shown in the installation guide. Keep in mind however this will lower the maximum load capacity the dimmer can handle from 600W to 500W if you are using incandescent bulbs. If you are using CFL or LED bulbs, the maximum will remain at 150W for the control. If you have other questions or would like to speak further about your application, please feel free to give our 24/7 Support line a call at 800-523-9466.

Q:The Lutron catalog has different numbers than Home Depot. I bought the CFL/LED model, but I can't tell if it is compatible with magnetic low-voltage.

Answer This Question
A: Unfortunately, Lutron C•L dimmers are not compatible with low voltage lighting. We would recommend a low voltage dimmer (such as the SLV-603P-WH) for magnetic low voltage) be used for low voltage applications. However due to the sensitivity and differences of LEDs, we would suggest these dimmers be used with Halogen low voltage lighting. For LED lighting, we would suggest working with the LED manufacturer to get the best performance.
