                  Q:Hello I would like some information on the handle of this microwave (Model # LMVM2003ST). Can you tell me if the handle is metal, plastic, or plastic with a film that looks like metal? I ask because my dads microwave (not LG is OTR) handle is plastic about 2 months after the warranty the handle broke off a little bit below the top (Note this microwave is only used by a 86 year old it is not abused at all. One day as he told me he pulled on the handle and it broke) I had to fix it with Gorilla glue. My microwave (not LG is OTR) handle is a plastic handle with a film that looks like metal about 1 & 1/2 years after I purchased the microwave the film is wrinkling on the entire front of the handle and starting to crack/split. I really do not want either of these problems to happen on a $400+ microwave. Thank you for your time.
