I bought this couple weeks ago and we are totally in love with it. It perfectly fits our top range section. The edges and buttons are very slick, we heat our food every now and then just for the experience of using this microwave! The older one we had made a lot of noise and handle was very hard whereas this product is too good, the beeps whenever the food gets heated up or while clicking on any selection of food - it gives a whole new experience. I don’t need to push the handle to close so hard unlike my older one, a small push is all is needed for it to close. It looks like a smart tv above my oven range 😊 One of my great buys this year!!

So far this LG microwave has proved the test , I have been happy with all the features, I’d bought my son a countertop LG 5 years ago and he’s still using it from that time so it still has great use , so far I’m happy with this over the range model

Hopefully customer service will be willing to work something out since we paid a decent amount for this microwave. Our last one was almost half the cost and lasted 10 years with no problems.

Have used it for six months and the display is nearly unreadable. We don’t use any harsh chemical cleaners, only natural soap and water. This is a giant design flaw by LG, and they need to fix the problem.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There is a lot right with this microwave, not only in where we had it installed, but in the features it offers. Our microwave is mounted above the stove, where the display is right at eye level. This makes it very easy to see and to select what you need when using it. Digital display gives you tooltips on the function buttons, which is great because you don't have to go to the manual. Helpful presets allow you to be able to cook common items like popcorn and mac and cheese. There is alos direct access to the functions we use daily like defrost, melt an soften. Additional bonus: the vent in this microwave is very effective at pulling the heat and steam away from your face as you cook on the stove below. Inside is very spacious and includes a turntable on the floor of the microwave and a stationary rack in the middle. This allows you to microwave 2 different things at once. Rack is removable, so if you are heating something taller, you can take it out. Heating is as expected, so you will have to occasionally stir or turn items that are on the rack, but the turntable helps even out the heating should you use that for cooking. If you are concerned about the matte black finish, don't be, it is not like stainless steel and fingerprints are not left behind when you touch it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros Out of the box, the appearance was shiny and sleek. Larger capacity than my previous microwave was immediately noticeable. Mounting definitely takes two people. Operation without vent fan is reasonably quiet. Have had for over a month, now, and has taken some getting used to. Presets seemed to heat/cook more than desired. Made some adjustments (mentally) and have achieved more favorable results. A bit more trial and error should bring about even better results. The lower position of the controls is attractive and convenient. Vent fan is very effective. Looks great above our black enamel electric range. Excellently priced given the features and brand reputation. Cons Control panel buttons, writing, and display could be a bit larger, along with, larger and brighter display. If you are under 5'7" you will have to stand on your toes to see what's cooking in my installation (which is pretty standard). The viewing area in the door is smaller and higher up, overall, than our previous microwave. Vent fan, although very effective, is very loud. I suppose we'll get used to it (turn up the TV). Overall Given the previous comments, I would consider myself quite satisfied with my purchase, so far. It is a great addition to our present array of appliances. The cons are within acceptable ranges (I'm taller that 5'7"). My overall conclusion would give your product a "Thumbs Up" approval and I would recommend it to friends and acquaintances. The final verdict will depend upon dependability over time.

Good bracket goes up quick if have help holding or use something to hold up

Positive: The numbers are on glass instead of plastic, so when you wipe fingerprints off, it doesn't scratch the way plastic does. It looks very nice. Negative: Because the numbers are on the bottom, the window is up too high for a short person to see into it. Also, the interior is gray and the light is so dim that you can't get a good view (even if you are tall enough). I would still buy this again because of the glass control panel.

This microwave has been a great addition to my kitchen. The install was easy once I got my old out of the way. Works great. I like having this one because it looks a little different then your standard microwave having the buttons across the bottom. The inside is very roomy, and I love the turbo fan. Really sucks the smoke from my horrible cooking right out. Since I have had it, I have not set off the smoke detectors. The only complaint if I had one, would be when the rack is in the Microwave, there really isn't much room on the turn table below the rack. So I usually don't have the rack in there. So far clean up has been easy. Haven't had this long enough to say how it will last over time, but good so far.

I found this microwave and Home Depot was listed as a retailer. I LOVE all the features on this microwave and the buttons across the front bottom are so much easier for me to reach. It is much quieter then my old one. I replaced one that was 15 years old. I highly recommend this microwave as your first or as a replacement. Totally safisfied!!

I am so happy I waited to buy my OTR microwave because LG came out with the best one on the market. The pull out full range cover vent is wonderful. It not only helps with pulling out odors when cooking, it really helps with the humidity output from boiling liquids. Love it! The fact that you are able to turn the turntable off and that the vents have a 'turbo' setting are excellent added pluses.

I thank the manufacturers of this wonderful LG Microwave. It has a fan than can be extended out over the cooktop and when cooking a large meal it’s more than capable of taking steam away quickly. The space in the Microwave is so spacious so I can easily put 2 items in to reheat or cook. I feel that it the best appliance in my LG kitchen. Just love it.

We just really like LG appliances. As our older appliances need to be replaced we are replacing them with LG. So far we have an LG double oven stove, over the range microwave, washer and large screen tv. The quality/value is far beyond the other brands, and we’ve had them all. Our particular microwave has all the functions along the bottom of the door. Great feature! The door opens and closes so easy/quiet and, of course, the finish matches the other appliances. Definitely recommend LG!

It is extremely difficult to see the selections on the control panel. Also difficult to see into microwave due to the darken area on lower part of window. Not user friendly.

I purchased a complete kitchen set and everything but the stove so far has had major problems and caused damage to our house due to water leaks.

Very nice microwave with excellent features

The microwave itself is great, but I can only give 3 stars because I expected it to be fingerprint resistant stainless to match the rest of my LG stainless appliances, and it's not. The only part that is, is the handle. Very disappointed to have spent $600 on a microwave that constantly needs to be cleaned.

Great looking microwave. The ventilation is awesome. I like the option of the rack in addition to the glass turntable. Super nice that a soft touch on the keys is all it takes. The only negative I have seen so far is that it is louder than I expected it to be.
