Q:What is the temperature in Fahrenheit for each of the temp settings?
by|Jul 19, 2019

Answer This Question
A: To provide an optimum washing performance, it is recommended that the hot water temperature from your water heater be set at 120 – 130 °F (48 – 54 °C) and the cold at 60 °F (15 °C). Water heaters are factory set at OSHA recommended levels, around 140°F (60°C). On the other hand, the EPA suggests turning the thermostat down to 120 °F (48 °C). If you've never adjusted the temperature on your hot water heater, it's probably set to 140°F (60°C) which is the default setting from most manufacturers. The hot water setting for the washer will be the temperature of the hot water coming from your water heater and the extra hot will be above that temperature. Typically for washing machines, the warm water setting or the medium water setting is between 110°F and 90°F (43.3-32.2°C). And, the cold water setting is between 80°F and 60°F (26.7-15°C)...^IFV

Q:can you open the washer during the wash cycle?

Answer This Question
A: Nope, it locks. You would need to "pause" it to open the lid. Also, it has no agitator so it doesn't really "mix up" the clothes.

Q:I am purchasing the WT7600 washer and would like to purchase a Pan for underneath. Is there a compatible pan? Does LG sell them?

A: Thank you for purchasing the LG 5.2 cu. ft. Mega Capacity Top Load Washer with TurboWash® Technology, Model # WT7600HKA. Regrettably, LG does not manufacture or sell pans. The washer does not have enough clearance to fit a pan under it so the type of pan that you will need is one that the entire washer can sit in. You can use the width and depth dimensions (27" x 28 3/8") as a guideline for the minimum size pan you need for the washer...^IFV

Answer This Question
A: Yes, we use pods all the time with this washing machine.
by|May 1, 2019
A: I can find information only on powdered and liquid detergents in the owners manual. And they absolutely must be designated "HE". The Tide website says pods can be used if placed directly in the drum but never the dispenser.

A: Yes, you can use detergent pods.

Answer This Question
A: Yes, we do.
by|May 1, 2019
A: The manual states, "Powdered or liquid color-safe bleach will not dispense properly." Perhaps it would if it were as watery as liquid bleach. Just guessing.
by|May 1, 2019
A: No. Do NOT use color safe bleach in the liquid bleach compartment UNLESS it happens to be liquid color safe bleach. Page 16 of the Owner's Manual specifically says "Do not pour powdered bleach into bleach dispenser."
by|Apr 28, 2019
A: Yes, if it is a liquid.

A: As best I can tell, at least with the android app, is it's only useful to get diagnostic information in case something goes wrong. I thought it would be more useful than that, but if it is I can't find it.
