A:  This unit has no floor.

    A:  There is a plastic liner of decent quality, but it doesn't fit flat against the inside edges of the sandbox. I put down a layer of landscape fabric for weed control, underneath everything, before I put the wood in place, then placed the liner inside, and then added sand.

    A:  There is no bottom other than a plastic liner that helps keep the sand away from the location you put it in your yard. Liner also helps deter weeds and does have drain holes for water. - KidKraft Specialist
