A:  Handle moves out to the side to turn on and you push it forward and back for temperature control. Protrudes maybe an inch form the body of the faucet.

A:  I would call Kohler customer service. 800-456-4537. I registered my product and they shipped replacement parts to me for free. My faucet is 7 years old and I was able to get parts for it. Do not purchase the parts. Ask to get them for free as part of your warranty.
