A:  This sink doesn't attach to the granite at all. It is actually supported by brackets that hang on your cabinets.

A:  My countertop installer said it was too heavy (it's 130 lbs) to mount directly to the stone with clips. You have to use the undermount kit that comes with it or build a frame. The undermount kit works great if you hace sturdy solid wood frame cabinets.

A:  The cut out front to pack must be 21.5 inches.

A:  Yes, but just barely given your cabinet wall depth. I installed in my 24" cabinet. The sink is 22" which will only give you less than an inch of play. Measure carefully to make sure and also check for any addition framing that may encroach before purchasing.

A:  No it is rounded. That makes a very nice easy slope that is sealed under the counter top.

A:  This is an under mount sink so you only use the holes you want. Granite, or quartz counter tops.

The 5818-5U-0 Hartland kitchen sink is an under-mount sink. These holes will be covered by the countertop. You have the option of which holes you want to use. You will need to drill holes in the countertop for the holes you wish to use. You do not need to use all five holes. Some people use the extra holes for soap/lotion dispensers. A:  It gives you a variety of options for where you might want to install your faucet, sprayer, and/or soap dispenser. You only drill the holes you need when installing.

A:  this is an undermount sink. the 5 pre-drilled holes are there to accommodate whatever fixtures you want to use. in my case i am only using one hole. the other four are not seen as they are underneath the cabinet.

A:  you dont' need to use them all. for me, five holes gave room for water filter spigot, bridge faucet, sidespray. I am not using the center hole but had I picked a different faucet I would have wanted it. could have used an additional hole for garbage disposer button.

A:  To give you options for faucet types and optional sprayer and soap dispenser. The holes are hidden under the countertop and the only the holes you need are cut into the countertop.

I am sorry model number 5818-5U-0 will not work in your cabinet, we recommended a 36-inch minimum base cabinet width. Please work with your local Home Depot for an alternative product. A:  Doubtful. This sink took up nearly all of a 36" wide sink base cabinet. If 34.75 is your outer dimension, I would say no, it won't fit. However, if 34.75" is your inner dimension, possibly.

A:  This sink took up nearly every bit of a 36" cabinet. You have to keep in mind the size of your cabinet is the outer dimension, not the inner space available.

A:  This sink is 33 wide and 21 front to back. It is also a deep sink, and heavy. my installers had to reinforce this sink under the cabinet and also the drain openings on this sink are wider than my pitiful, old sink - - which meant that the pipes underneath had to be retro-fit. i paid them extra for the time and materials is took but found these extras to be very worthwhile. It looks great!!

A:  My cabinet was a standard 24" and it fit, but just barely. Check for any additional bracing in the sink area in addition to your cabinet wall thickness to make sure you have adequate depth and width before buying.
