A:  Thank you for your inquiry. You would have to purchase the complete towel bar set. We could not sell just the towel bar.

A:  I posted the original question. I wasn't asking if you sell just the bar, I was asking if I purchase the kit, can it be taken apart enough to be able to cut the bar to a slightly shorter length so I can do a custom fit?

A:  Yes, the end can be taken off for cutting. HOWEVER, be sure to cut the end without the notches. One end has notches to keep the bar from turning. Pull the other end off and carefully cut it to any length you need.

A:  Thank you for your inquiry. The post centerlines for this K-13432-BN Coralais Brass Towel Bar are 30" apart. The shortest towel bars we offer have posts that have centerlines 18" apart. A towel ring may be a consideration, and we have included a link to a towel ring page below.

A:  You do not need to install this on studs. However, since the two bases are about 32½" apart, you could get one screw into a stud for each end.
