Cast iron should not show scratches, where there is actual gouging in the sink, however, it is very common to see marks which occur generally from pots and pans, that are easily removable by following the cleaning recommendations for cast iron products. A:  No, I have seen no evidence of any scratches in any areas. When I received the sink, not did have a numb er of places with some type off surface scum, which took a significant amount of time and effort to remove using Bar Keepers liquid cleaner. The scum has never returned once removed.

We do offer self-rimming sinks however we do not have one with those dimensions. I did find one Model that may be an option for you . Model 2991-1-0 is a self –rimming sink that is 8 1/6” in height, 21 13/16” in length and 16 9/16” in width. A:  This is really in between in my view.. i don't like super gloss either.

A:  The surface is highly reflective, and draws attention, unless the entire area is black.. I previously had a Granite Composite sink and it was nearly impossible to keep clean and required an application of polish frequntly to keep it looking presentable.

A:  The drains are more to the rear of the sink. However, it is not enough to make a big difference. The drains, although more rearward, are centered between the sink sides.

A:  The drains are definitely towards the rear of the sink. It's really not difficult to install the piping.
