A:  No problems do gar but I wouldn't leave coffee tea ect without rinsing dink out. Barkeepers cleaner is great for these sinks with a non scratch sponge

A:  Mine was just installed an hour ago. I would think any sink would stain if not cleaned regularly.

A:  Daily use in kitchen where I cook almost every day has not produced any permanent stains. Use Dawn liquid for all dish washing chores. Have seen some occasional yellowing in spots at the bottom. When this occurs, I stopper both sides and allow a mild solution of water/bleach to sit for a couple of hours, rinse with tap water. Spots do not re-appear. Never use anything other than dish cloth or soft pan when cleaning. The surface is as good now as it was the day it was installed (about a year). Not inexpensive, but I an very pleased with this sink. Would recommend to anyone who wants a quality sink.

A:  Hello IG, my name is Tiffany with Kohler Co. I am happy to answer the question about the Deerfield sink. The included template in the package should be used for exact cut out dimensions. 21''x 32'' is not an acceptable cutout for the Deerfield.

A:  Your sink size is 22x33 so I guess it depends on how sturdy you cabinet is.

A:  Yes, I also had this same sink and it looks beautiful, but as you found out there is no Black Drain available for the sink. The other fault I found was the finish scratched very easily, and I decided not to keep the sink because it had shown scratches inside of a little.e less than a months usage. I did ask a company who does Powder coating and they said they could black powder coat a drain assembly for me for just about $100, but would not give me any warranty for the coating to last without scratching. I don't know if this information will help you or not. By the photo, I am not sure if you have the dull finish or the shiny finish. I tried both an d found the dull finish to stain easily and the shiny finish to scratch easily.

However, at a base price of $152.70 for the drain and strainer PER SIDE, I would pay more than the cost of the sink itself. Personally I think there is something horrendously wrong with that. I think the sink is going back.
