Q:Does this Kohler sink have surface dimples in it like the Kohler Delafield model?

Answer This Question
A: Hi RET55, this is Sarah with Kohler Customer Service. I am glad to address your question. Due to the nature of enameled cast iron, there is a measure of rippling or waviness to vertical walls as gravity pulls the enamel down during melting in the furnace. Horizontal surfaces melt smooth. Please call our Customer Care Center at 1-800-4Kohler (1-800-456-4537) if you have additional questions. Thank you for choosing Kohler.

Q:What is difference between the Deerfield and the Brookfield. Are they both a gloss black?

A: Hi Janice! I notice that the Brookfield is insulated, which provides a sound dampening feature. The Deerfield is CSA certified which means The CSA Group (formerly the Canadian Standards Association; CSA) is a standards organization. The CSA registered mark shows that a product has been independently tested and certified to meet recognized standards for safety or performance. Also the basins of both sinks are slightly different in size. I hope this helps:)

A: Hello Janet, my name is Kassi with Kohler Co. I'd be glad to answer your question. The Brookfield sink has a more squared-off basin shape where the Deerfield has a bow towards the center of the bowl making it slightly bigger. The Deerfield is 14-1/4" in length, 16-9/16: wide, and has a bowl depth of 9". The Brookfield is 14-3/16" in length, 16-1/16" wide, and has a 6" bowl depth. Thank you for choosing Kohler.

A: I have had this sink for 3 years. I use bleach water in this sink to soak my mops. No problem....I only use soft scrub to clean the sink itself.

Hard to find Almond appliances. I think the color has been replaced with Biscuit.

A: Hi Karen, this is Sarah with Kohler Customer Service. I'm glad to answer your question. You can check the drain locations by loading the specification sheet for each sink that interests you. This sheet can be found on both homedepot.com and us.kohler.com. The Deerfield, model K-5873, does not have center drains. The drains are offset towards the back. Thank you for choosing Kohler.
