    A:  JELD-WEN does not recommend adding a storm door to our products. Storm Doors can absorb heat unevenly which may damage the door. A storm door may be added to our products, however please keep in mind that adding a storm door may result in a warranty claim being denied. Thank you for your inquiry.

        Q:What are the overall dimensions of the exterior of the door, including jamb depth? My current door has only a 2.75" jamb depth, fitted tightly against the brick facade of the house. Will this prehung door fit, or is the jamb going to be too wide?

                  Q:I jusy purchased and installed this door myself. The door did not come with foam wedges, neither any longer screws or nails. There wasn’t any installation or care printed literature. It also has a wide gap between the jamb and door on the lock side. Is it supposed to be like this?

                  A:  The molding materials around the glass started to deformed, very cheap material like plastic. Very disappointed. I’m going back to homedepot.

                    A:  The JELD-WEN 36 in. x 80 in. 3/4 Lite Idlewild Black Painted Steel Prehung Left-Hand Inswing Front Door w/Brickmould should have come with an installation pack that includes a couple foam wedges, instructions for install, and a couple of screws for reference for install. The installation instructions can be found her on our website. https://cmd-jeld-wen.s3.us-east-2.amazonaws.com/assets/documents/1634307103.pdf . We always have a bit of a gap between the jamb and door for functionality. That gap should be about 1/8". Thank you for letting us assist you.
