      A:  Thank you for your inquiry. This unit meets egress for a first-floor opening only based on the national coding standards for egress. This does not meet the minimum square foot opening of 5.7 square feet required for a unit on a second floor or higher level.

        Q:I bought a 30.75x36.75 W2500 window. The real dimensions of the window that I got was 30x36. In any case, I have steel window framing (5/64" thick) and the dimensions are 1/4 to 1/2" above 30" (width) and 1/2" above 36" (height). Is it good for install?
