            A:  Yes it should, you just won’t be able to use the door locks any longer. We installed a Sliding Patio Door Security Bar Lock in order to secure the patio door, another thing to keep in mind it makes the door opening much smaller so make sure you can you can fit anything you wish to take in & out through the door can still fit through it. We love the door.
