Q:What is the weight limit for these shelves?

Answer This Question

A:  Thank you for your question regarding the weight limit for the 36" photo ledge. This ledge sits flat on your wall and is designed to hold framed pictures/collectibles. Since there is nothing else supporting the weight of the ledge other than the nails in the wall, the weight limit would be minimal. Thank you for shopping The Home Depot.

A:  My estimate would be about 1 pound. The wall attachment is very flimsy.

A:  I bought these expecting it to be closer to a brown color. I would describe the color as black. I do not feel the picture is representative at all of the color and I returned the shelves as a result.

A:  No. You only have about 2" on each end before you encounter the keyhole clip for the screw head coming out of the anchor. 32" is about the limit or else you have to come up with another way of anchoring it o the wall.

A:  They won't look good as they are not solid wood. Plus hanging brackets are a fixed distance apart.
