Q:The ceiling fan and light turn on randomly. I have changed the “frequency “ and it still just turns on at random moments. What causes this?

A:  You need a new receiver (brain of the fan). It is malfunctioning. If this is replaced it will solve this issue. Email service@summer-wind.info with name, address and request if you want a free replacement.

      A:  The box says "close-to-ceiling", not closer to ceiling. This fan is a flushmount fan already so you cannot mount it any closer that it will be already.

        Q:The mounting plate is too large for our standard electrical box. One screw is in the narrow section but the other one is in the middle hole. Every other fan has fit in it fine. How should we adjust the mounting plate?
