Q:I installed 2 fans, but failed to change one of the dip switches. I am now trying to disassemble the light to change it. The LED light housing twists down, but won’t detach. How do I do this?

A:  You have to get the entire housing off. Are you only twisting off the light kit? You have to drop the entire motor to get to the codes on the receiver side.

        Q:When changing the frequency of the fan: - turn off electric - counter turn the light fixture, disconnect - remove fan screws (5) - on base, remove set screw and loosen others. counter turn to reveal receiver under - flip switches (and remote to match)

          A:  There is a small black button in the back of the remote. As the fan is turning press this button one-time. The fan will then begin to slow down and reverse directions.

            A:  It does have a dimmer built in the remote system. If you think the light is set lower than full bright you can press and hold the light button icon until it comes back up.

              Q:I have no switches in the receiver only in the remote, so how do I change the frequency for 1 of my 3 fans as 1 remote will control all fans in different rooms and is a problem.

              A:  If that is the case then this is a self-programmable fan from the remote. As you reprogram one fan have the other two fans off at the wall switch each time. You only need to reprogram 2 of them and leave one alone. When you are working on the first fan follow these steps: 1. Turn the power switch on the wall off. 2. Change a switch position in the back of the remote. 3. After 20 seconds return the power switch on the wall back to on. 4. Then press and hold the power button on the remote; the power symbol. Keep holding until the light blinks on the bottom of the fan and then it will be reprogrammed to the new setting.
