The fan can not be exposed directly to water, so installing in a pergola setting with an open ceiling would not be acceptable. If your porch does not have a solid ceiling, you will need a wet rated outdoor fan.

A:  Thank you for your question. Technically, yes two fans can be controlled by a single remote as long as both fans have the same receivers. Both receivers and the handheld remote would need to have the same dip switch settings. In general, we do not recommend using one remote to control multiple fans as it could cause operational issues if the fans get out of sync with each other. For instance, one fan may receiver the signal from the remote when the other doesn't due to distance between the remote and fans.

Yes, technically one remote can operate multiple fans as long as each fan has a receiver and all of the receivers and the remote are set to the same dip switch settings. We caution against using one remote to control multiple fans as that can lead to performance issues such as one fan receiving the signal while another doesn't which would cause the fans to get out of sync. We recommend using one remote per fan. Please note that you will need to buy 3 identical remotes/receivers. The remote sold with this fan is model # 68130. You would need to purchase this fan/remote combo and then purchase the 2 extra remotes separately to get the extra receivers.

A:  We have had 2 of these fans on our back patio for nearly 2years they are holding up very well, as we live in AZ I was worried the blades would sag, but they have not. We are very pleased with this product.
