A: I don't believe it comes with a remote. My model didn't and, yes it has a pull chain. I believe there is a model with a remote for more money. I did not want a remote.

Q:If I install two ceiling fans on my porch, will one remote work both fans?

Answer This Question
A: Thank you for your question. This fan does not include a remote, but it is compatible with universal remote controls like model #68131 or #68130. Please note that each fan would need to have the receiver included with the remote installed in the canopy of the fan. Technically, if the remotes are the same, then one could control 2 fans. We caution against using one remote to control multiple fans as that can lead to performance issues if the fans get out of sync. We suggest changing the dip switch settings in one remote/receiver pair so that each remote only controls one fan.
