A:  Puncture, as can be measured by ASTM D4833, is not performed on construction film. The industry relies instead on dart impact values performed via ASTM D1709 for which the 6mil spec value is 260 grams. A:  Goes to show that they don't have algorithms to properly manage your question ... So .. I'll tell you my experience anyway .. I ordered the 24 ft wide X 50 ft long; with free shipping/delivery to my home. It is mostly as it says ... and is a proper thickness to be used as a durable drop cloth for painting. But ... ... it is NOT Clear .. it was light grey and OPAGUE. I don't mind .. since I use it for painting, covers for AC units, and etc.
