A: We use ours outdoor and have nver had a problem with it. Hope this helps. (However, keep in mind our weather, doesn't snow or rain much in california.)

A: This cord is not meant to be left outdoors. We would recommend purchasing a cold weather SJEOW cord which is meant for all seasons.

Q:Can this be used for Power Washers or Treadmills?
I'm confused about a 14/3 and 14/2 wires and which is more appropriate.
I'm planning to use this for my power washer. And maybe in the future my treadmill in case I move it further from the outlet. Thanks for any advice.

Answer This Question
A: The different between 14/3 and 14/3, is 14/3 has a ground wire. I would take a look at the amperage required for your power washer and tread mill.

A: I dont know why you couldnt, it durable enough, I'd check watts and maps on a/c and make sure it's not more than on the cord

A: It's going to depend on how many watts the unit draws. Look at the A/C label (or Specs) and re-phrase your question.

Q:Looking to use for a table lamp that's too far from an outlet (getting an outlet installed in that location is not an option). I read that extension cords can only be used "permanently" safely if specifically labelled for that application.

A: Yes. (where are you getting the idea that extension cords cannot be left plugged in? never heard that one b4 :-) )

A: You should be fine. These cords are rated for appliances. Turn the light off when not in use. Also if the light can take an LED bulb that will lower the energy draw.
