Q:The specifications state this cord weighs 8.96 ounces? I doubt a 50 foot, 14/3 cord could be that light.

Q:I just ordered this and I have to know if this extension cord is 15 amps. It says it's a 15 amp extension cord in the product specifications, but it looks like the packaging says 13 amps and someone that reviewed the product said the same thing.
I just bought a Snow Joe 18 in., 14.5 Amp snow blower and I need an extension cord that's rated for 15 Amps or above. Please advise.

A: This extension cord is 15 amp rated. I have one 50 feet long 14 gauge and if it wasn't rated for 15 amps. My large compressors would not run. It is not 16/3. The 16/3 is rated for 13 amps but this one is 14/3 so at 0 to 50 feet it's good for 15 amps from 51 to 100 feet it's good for 13 amps

A: 13 amps. Even though the description has 15. Just purchased this and packaging states 13. 15 amps are 12 gauge and up.

A: It better be 15amp. I ordered it specifically for a 15A equipment and waiting for it to arrive on local Home Depot. Home Depot needs to work on its website. Too many instances of inaccurate information on their website.

A: 50 feet and under can supply 15 amps to the load. anything over 50 feet up to 100 feet maximum can only handel 13 amps. because the cord is 100 feet you will ony get 13 amps maximum out of this cord.
