        A:  Thank you for your inquiry. The H4000A track is not going to be compatible with the Dura Drive unit. You will also need an extension kit model EKSC to allow the unit to be used for a 8’ door.

          A:  Thank you for your inquiry. The only thing you may be able to do is to install a low head room rail system to the door which may give you enough clearance for the unit. You will need to check with a local garage door dealer regarding the kit.

            A:  Thank you for your inquiry. The DuraDrive units assembled length is 126”. The rail can be cut down to fit your space but you will lose the same amount of up travel as you cut from the rail. It sounds as if you need to cut off about 14” from the rail which may not let the door open completely. Please contact our office at 800-354-3643 with any questions.
