A: That is a very complicated question. It all depends on the load and type of circuits you are going to run. A electrician can calculate the load, I (hate to put it this way) if you don't know how many circuits you need it might be dangerous to be installing this panel.

A: The correct ground bar for that load center is a TGK24CP. You can buy it in store or online at homedepot.com. It will match up to the holes provided.
Thanks for the question.

A: Yes, you can. However, I had difficulty finding one that fit the pre-drilled holes for installation so I had to drill one additional hole, which was pretty simple.

Q:Can tandem circuit breakers be installed in this load center?

A: This was installed in my garage. I don't have any ganged breakers install in my panel, however I don't see why you couldn't. It is a standard indoor panel. I'm not an electrician but the electrician who did the installation said I would have no problem installing breakers large enough for an electric welding machine, which I believe would require tandem (ganged) breaker. Hope this helps.

A: No you use 4 wire to this panel from the main panel. Two hot's one neutral and a grounding conductor. Pus you do not bond this panel. You need to keep the neutral and ground separate . when you using as a sub panel.

A: I think it depends on the code in your state. My garage is detached and I was require to install grounding rods (2, 8 footers) because of recent electrical code changes in Montana. I thought I could get away without a grounding rod but not so.

A: Yes, all main and sub-panels should be grounded. Check local codes as some codes require 2 ground rods spaced 8 feet apart.

A: Yes. I don't know the entire situation but given what I know so far I see no problem with it.

A: Short answer is no. The panel is rated for 125 amp using two phases. A single 100 amp breaker will cause the installed breakers to trip.
