A:  The GAF Liberty Cap can be installed over primed plywood, Liberty Base Sheet or an approved insulation or cover board.             Q:I would like to use your product for my carport. In the video they show you lay down a sub base for the roofing material to stick to. My carport as 2x6 instead of oSB. What do I lay over the 2x4 for your product to adhere to it?

                A:  Hello, the GAF Liberty Peel and Stick roofing can be applied down to a clean plywood deck without underlayment.
