A:  Flow Wall accessories are designed specifically for Flow Wall Panel.

A:  I would not mix hooks or accessories from other systems. Typically they will not fit Flow Wall panels

        by|Dec 31, 2020

A:  In general, none that I'm aware of. That said: I needed to hang a metal yard stick through a hole in one end. The Flow Wall hooks are pretty fat, so that was a no-go. I had a Gladiator single hook that I had left over from my previous home, and I was able to bend the lower retaining tab with vice-grips just enough to get it to fit in the Flow Wall track. It's a bit loose, but it does the job.

                Answer This Question

A:  Flow Wall slats are a standard 3" on center. I have found that not all competitor products will work with Flow Wall panels, so we do not recommend using other products. If you choose to do so I recommend getting a sample hook to try before ordering large amounts.

                by|Mar 23, 2020

A:  It’s exactly 3” from center groove to center groove. See attached photo.

Q:I live in Florida where wooden studs are prohibited. My garage is currently drywalled over a combination of cinder block and metal studs. How can this modular system be installed given these limitations?

                    Answer This Question

A:  Concrete block for sure. This is taken from the Flow Wall site: Can Flow Wall be installed on concrete or block walls? Yes - All you need is to purchase 2 inch Concrete Screws (available at hardware stores) and the installation process is the same. Another option is to "fir out" the wall using 2 inch x 2 inch or greater studs. Simply anchor the studs to the concrete wall using concrete wall anchors spacing them 16 inches off center. For added support, when storing heavier items, we recommend that you include a plywood sheet over the studs for greater strength. As for metal studs my recommendation would be to ask this question directly to Flow Wall support at: customer service Phone: 877-356-9925 Email: customerservice@flowwall.com Best of luck with your project. It's a really great product and will greatly improve the look and functionality of your space.

A:  You can use metal screws in the metal studs or masonry screws in cinder block.

                      by|Jan 27, 2020

A:  Not that I am a true handyman: here's what I did with my cinder block wall: I looked for the cement seams in the wall, and temporarily hung the panels up, marked where the seams matched the indented lines on the panel. Every foot or so, I drilled a hole in the panel where I marked with pencil. Then I drilled a smaller hole than the metal screws I used, into the cement seams. I then screwed the panels onto the wall with metal screws where I had drilled the holes previously. It worked fine - you have to drill the holes in the wall panels first, match them up to the holes you've drilled in the wall so you have to take the time and get it right first time final.... don't drill or screw the screws in too much or you'll strip the screw holes and then you'll be screwed...

A:  I do apologize for the confusion. I am having the description corrected now, as displayed, this kit is 36" H x 96" wide. It is using the panels in 2 columns. Please let us know if there is anything else we can help you with.

A:  I have NO IDEA why it says 36 x 48 :) In the Specifications section of the product listing (scroll down, past the Product Overview and other items you might want from the collection), it says that the finished product is 36 x 96. Each piece is 12 x 48 and the assembled product photo shows two columns, each column with three stacked pieces for a final size of 36" x 96". We bought this for our garage and it's definitely 36 x 96. We love it!

A:  Hi Fran That is a great question, the panels are made of a cellulous PVC, and the hooks are a 13 gauge powder coated steel. We don't recommend putting them in a place where they will be constantly wet however them getting wet every once in a while is not a problem. Also unless its wet constantly it should not swell. thank you Flow Wall Team

A:  They are made of plastic. Moisture will not be a problem. The plastic is extremely flimsy for the price. Attachments are also expensive compared to other suppliers of the same items. I would suggest looking into Diamond wall products. I am about $500-$600 into Flow Wall.
