Q:How many of these units can I place on an individual breaker? I am thinking of an on/off switch that would turn them on and off. How many amps does each unit require?

Answer This Question
A: If you have 15 amps breakers, we recommend just one unit.

A: Unit claims to be 1500 watts. That means that 1500/120V=13 amps of load for each heater. You will probably need a dedicated 15 amp circuits or a 20 amp circuit with limited other loads (TV, radio, lights, etc.). To add the additional outlet, you will need to obtain an electrical permit. Electrical Inspector - Scott ps. I will be installing mine with rotary timer switch.
