I bought this for my screened in porch. It adds the additional warmth I was looking for to extend the use of my porch well into the cooler seasons.

Nice little heater. Takes off the chill in moderate cool temperature.

We have a small screened in patio and live in the Mountains. This heater allows us to sit outside when the temperature gets very cold and enjoy the outside even in the winter. Great Mounting Bracket easy to install

I've had these for years now and love to have coffee on the patio with warm infrared heat over my table on chilly mornings at the lake.

I am happy with it but you need to be directly under it for heating.

Very nice heater except I have to do some electrical work to give it a dedicated outlet where I was connecting it to needed more amperage ability so I have some more to do before I can enjoy it

This is a high quality infrared heat lamp. It does its job so long as you are in the area that it is pointing at. The range feels like it is 4 feet.

It heats well, it's totally silent and it's given us several extra days to enjoy back porch during the winter days when the temperatures here in NW Florida are less than comfortable.

I am very pleased with these heaters. I installed the stationary mounting bracket on the inside face of the upright outer support posts of my deck overhang, so the unit would face inward and direct heat across my deck seating and toward the exterior wall of my house. The bracket on each heater unit drops right into the stationary mounting bracket, providing a very solid installation yet making it easy to simply lift the units out of the bracket and take them inside for storage. They come with a plug and a cord long enough to reach down to a regular house electrical outlet, but NOTE that each unit draws 1500 watts so you'll need a dedicated circuit of at least 20 amps for each one to avoid tripping a breaker.

I had bought one of these several years ago, and I now this is my 2nd. I got them for my outdoor patio. Great to hang out under them in a 40 degree day/night. I like the metal hood it has because I hang them close to my ceiling outside, and it protects if from heating the ceiling. I recommend.

Our area is too cold to use this alone through the winter, but for October and early November it extended our porch time outdoors

We did not install it on the wall but kept it on the shelf. It warms two people sitting close by very well. Even in 50 degrees temperature, you are comfortable.

The heater puts out only a moderate amount of heat on our screened porch. Ok for moderate weather, but won’t be sufficient when it gets really cold outside.

This worked really well for about 3 evenings and then totally short circuited. I am trying to return it as soon as possible.

This was really easy to install (4 screws) and plug in. We had to try it in a couple different locations to find the best heat and safety combo. It won't really help in the dead of winter, but it does a great job of cutting the chill in fall and spring.

No on and off switch on the unit. Must be unplugged. Bad design.

Perfect way to stay warm outside on the terrace.

I bought two of these to extend the season well into the fall. They throw an immense amount of heat (I almost wish they had a half-power setting), are very well built. Very happy with these so far.

I purchased an Electric Parasol Heater (Model No. 60404) for my patio umbrella. It was easy to install, attractive, and performs like a champ. It is also attractive without drawing attention to itself. I also like the feature that allows for three different heat settings. I have owned 3 of these. The first was destroyed in a windstorm that also destroyed the umbrella. The insurance adjuster had never heard of the item, and after he saw it, he called me later to tell me he had bought one and how much he and his wife were enjoying it. The second fell victim to the ravages of time and use. The third is this one, and I will keep buying them. They put out just the right amount of heat.

if you have the heater within 4 feet of you down on the ground it will warm you very well. if you mount it up on the inside of an outdoor structure (like it's meant to be done) you can't feel much heat from this thing. I mounted it on an inside cross beam about 8 feet in the air, aimed down at about 60 degrees and you can feel little to no heat even standing directly under where it's aimed. My wife is always cold out doors in the evening and I got this to help keep her warm while we enjoy our large covered outdoor space. I have tried the tall propane heaters, and then this thing, and what has always worked best is just a quality (Vornado) space heater blowing warm air into the area. The other issue with this heater is the red light it puts off It's at least 500 lumens of red light. Not expected and not desirable. Took it back.

The infrared heater worked exactly as we had hoped. We installed it in a sitting area on our patio approx.10x12 ft. It heats the area well and the heat is immediate. We found that our fire table was eating through too much propane. Now the fire table is on low and we heat with the infrared heater.

Good Heater in its price range

Easy install, customer support was awesome, just right to take the chill off. Will purchase another next spring to increase comfort area.

Purchased the wall mounted heater for an outdoor Pavilion. Works better than the heater I replaced. Great for small areas outside.

Works as advertised. Throws sufficient heat, quiet, very easy to install. I installed this heater in my 3 season room, 16x16, it takes the chill off. I'm thinking about getting a second heater for when the temperature drops below 30, it struggles.

Doesn't heat as far away from the unit as expected, or stated.

This was added to my first heater to warm 2 chairs on our porch. Down to mid 40's with light winds it allows us to enjoy the porch into late October!

This heater works great in my canvas enclosed outside patio (12X28). I have two of them and I usually need to turn one off. Even on the coldest nights. Definitely buy one!

the heat was fine.... but the glow was so bright it was like having a red florescent light..... TOO BRIGHT. Returned to store.
