Q:Is this vent has flap that close the vent in normal condition and open when exaust fan is on? so that in winter cold air not come in.

A: FAV's do not have a damper, always open. The Round Wall Vent ( WVA 4) has a gravity damper for exhaust (closed when not in use). Please call MasterFlow Technical Services, at 80-211-9612, M-F 8A-5P EDT for additional information.

A: This is a fresh air vent - typically used to for a furnace to draw in outside (non heated/cooled) air. Also used in makeup air systems. In such applications a "flap" in not desired.

A: Make sure you buy the one with the flap. Some do and some don't.

Q:How Long is the Pipe? Will it completly fit through Block?

A: I don't remember the exact length but you can cut it if it is too long. It should fit into the vent hole and push all the way into so the flange is flush with the house siding.
