A:  This product is made for this type of installation.

A:  This product cannot be used outside. Fiberglass cannot get wet.

A:  yes, but you'll have to apply a weatherproof jacketing around it. Like PVC pipe insulation jacketing, or aluminum. Aluminum jacketing is your best option

A:  No.  It’s paper and thin. It will come apart

A:  I would say no to the outdoor usage and probably wouldn’t work with taking apart and putting it back together multiple times. 

A:  We used this item to wrap our sewer hoses to the rv. It gets very cold and icy here. We have had no problems with our hoses freezing.

A:  This fiberglass pipe insulation is 1/2" thick wall and is only thickness we have.

A:  The white cover has a sticky overlap that allows this cover to be held together when being installed. It's been my experience, however, that this will come loose over time and that you should secure the cover with a couple of nylon zip ties.

A:  This product is made with fiberglass as the name of the product says, therefore it is not made or intended to be used outdoors unless it's in a very protected area 100% free from rain, snow, and dew.

A:  Yes you can use it on Radon Venting Pipes.

A:  This product is not rated for use on an auto. Doing so could be dangerous. There are products that are made for specific applications for cars.

A:  No, this will not fit your pipe. You will need to get the 2-1/2" ID size to work properly and seal tightly.

A:  This product is not made with fire retardant added to it.
