        Answer This Question

A:  It will help but probably not stop it 100%.

        by|Jun 9, 2021

A:  This product is intended for 2 inch internal diameter pipe - such as you might have on a steam heat system. It's very unusual to find copper pipe as big as that in a private residence. If you have 1/2 inch or 3/4 inch copper pipe, you probably want Armaflex pipe insulation, also available from any Home Depot.

                      Answer This Question

A:  i don't think it provides any sound proofing. it is a bit flexible , but not too much. This is mostly used to cover exposed hot pipes to reduce the chance of touching them.

A:  They will provide a little soundproofing but not what you are expecting. And no, these are rigid 3 ft long pieces of pipe insulation and will not bend .
