Q:What size tank should I buy?
by|Aug 31, 2023
1 Answer
Answer This Question
A: If you are referring to a pressure tank, it will somewhat depend on the size of your home and number of water outlet fixtures. A larger tank will generally be preferrable, as the pump will run less often. Longer time between pump cycles helps prolong pump motor life.

Q:I have tried 2 new 1/2hp pumps and neither pump would cut on, I have new 12g wire running to it and a new double 20 breaker 80 ft shallow well, I have power, and only tested the pump above ground want turn on, any suggestions?

Answer This Question
A: We'd like to have more information about your overall pump system in order to help with troubleshooting. For instance, what is the pressure range of your pressure switch (cut on/cut off pressure)? Was the pump plumbed to the pressure switch and pressure tank and running in water when you tested above ground? There are several variables that we can walk through if you would please call our Customer Service team at 844-833-1872.

Thank you for your question. We would recommend a 1 1/4" x 1" barbed adapter. SKU # 1001096324. This will screw into the discharge and allow for a connection to black poly pipe.
