Answer This Question

A:  Yes I have both batteries and they both work. Obviously the 4ah battery lasts much longer. The stock charger works with both batteries also.

by|May 4, 2023

A:  The saw is compatible with all Echo lithium ion 58volt batteries.

    by|May 3, 2023

A:  Yes. I would recommend that you use the 4AH to minimize number of times you have to change batteries.

      by|May 4, 2023

A:  Chainsaw will except both batteries.

        by|May 3, 2023

A:  Great question, don. Yes, either 4AH or 2AH batteries will work with this 58v chainsaw. As long as you have a 58v Echo battery, the amperage will not matter. Just keep in mind that using a 4AH battery will give you a little more power and run time than the 2AH battery.

A:  Hello RMC. This chain saw does require a 16 inch chain with 56 drive links. If you choose to use an Oregon chain the model number would be the R56. Thanks for your interest in the Echo product line.

A:  The Echo mower can hold two batteries, but you only need one to run it. The mower weighs 57 pounds. The 2ah battery weighs 2.6 lbs. and the 4ah version weighs 4.0 lbs. Multiply the weight of the battery you want to use by 2 and add that to 57 pounds.

A:  2 batteries. Don't know the total weight--ask Echo, but I have a 4.0 and a 2.0 and two very large surfaces that require cut and mulch and gets the job does with some to spare. The mower with 2 batteries inserted at the same time is still lighter than the Ariens that I replaced it with (and much better at the job, even in wet grass).

A:  The mower will take two batteries but one is in stand by mode and isn't used by the mower. You just take a plug out and turn it over and replug and the other battery is then utilized. You only need one battery to run mower.

A:  Hello Mick. Thanks for your inquiry! The mower takes two batteries but only activates one at a time, to make it more convenience. The total weight with both batteries inserted is 65lbs. Hope this helps and thanks for your question Mick!

A:  They are very expensive but you buy 2 items and you have 2 batteries which then purchaing the other items offered gets much cheaper. I bought a battery charger and battery (Bigger one offered) for 80.00 on ebay. Thats as cheap as I have seen, but the prices should drop after the novelty wears off.
