Q:WHAT IS THE COST OF 58V BATTERY,IT RUNS FOR 15 SEC THEN STOP

A: Brand new $169.99 US 4.0 aH:
I ordered 2 from a lawn equipment company and had to wait about 3 weeks for them to arrive this past August. I have the mower, blower, weeder & chainsaw, so it was worth the cost. The original 4.0 aH batteries lasted 5 years. My 2.0 still operates.

A: You probably just need to reset your battery (the starting and stopping always happens to my battery right after I've recharged it). First, remove the battery from the charger (or the tool if you just tried to use it). Next, press and hold the status button on the top of the battery for about 20 seconds. This should fix the problem.

A: The 2.0 is lighter and has the same "torque" but the charge is about 1/2 hour versus about 50+ minutes for the 4.0.

A: I've used both so it can be either, but the 2AH won't last as long. Still, for a typical weekender, the 2AH might be just fine.

A: Hi:
You can use any compatible battery. So, if you have a 2.0 or 4.0 amp hour battery that is for these 58 volt tools, it will work.
The lower the amp hour of the battery, the less time it will last before needing to be recharged.

A: Either one the 4.0 will run the saw longer and take longer to charge the battery
by|Oct 26, 2018
A: You can use either one. They are both the same power (58 volt). The 4 amp will just last longer between charges.
