A:  This particular Unidoor product is an exact fit model. You will have a little bit of wiggle room with the provided shims that can shim the hinges out away from the wall a little, but you may still have a little bit of a gap. 1/4" larger than the stated 29" model size is really the most play you will get, so you really should measure your opening width in 3 locations - the top, middle, and bottom. If any of those measurements exceed 29-1/4", you definitely will have a gap, even if you use the shims. A:  None of the stock DreamLine Unidoor products will fit your 22-1/2" opening - the smallest size we offer is 23" and this size will be far too large for your opening - the glass will hit the wall and could break as a result. To get a Unidoor product for your opening, it would have to be custom-made. A:  We do not recommend purchasing a door separately to match up with the French Linea Toulon as doing this will completely void the warranty on both DreamLine products and could compromise the product's safety. The French Linea Toulon is a 34" wide free-standing shower screen and it is not designed or intended to have a door glass installed with it because the Linea Toulon panel is too wide. The Unidoor Toulon model # SHDR-2458720-89 is a 58" - 58-1/2" model size that is designed to fit a 60" base. This setup for the Unidoor Toulon will have both a stationary glass panel and a door glass that will have the Toulon pattern on the glass. A:  There are some spacers included that you can use to space the hinges away from the wall a little bit and the maximum amount you will be able to do this is 1/4", so you will want to measure the opening carefully in several locations to make sure that you are not over 23-1/4" at any point. A:  Unfortunately, we do not have any vinyl seals that will make up for the 1" shortage you have. The Unidoor model you purchased is designed to fit a finished opening of exactly 28" and if your opening is 29" wide, we would recommend returning this product and getting the 29" door instead. None of the vinyl strips we offer will be large enough to stretch this model's tolerances an inch beyond the 28" size you purchased.

A:  The Unidoor model series comes with adjustable hinges. The hinges will come pre-set from the factory for outward swing, which is the recommended use, but they can be adjusted to allow for inward swing or for both inward and outward swing. A:  Our door was able to swing both in and out once installed. I believe that the hinges had to be adjusted after the door was installed to allow this, but the instructions for adjusting the hinges are included in the installation manual.

A:  This style of Unidoor does not have any adjustments for width or out-of-plumb walls - it is an exact-fit model. If your opening is 24-3/8" wide, the 24" model size will leave a sizable gap between your wall and the edge of the glass. A:  No - you will not be able to make a 23" door fit into an opening that is 22-3/4" wide at the bottom. The installed dimension of the 23" Unidoor (including the hinges) is 23" exactly. If you try to install this in your opening with a measurement that is less than 23", the glass will strike the tile wall and could shatter. This 23" model is too large for the opening and we do not recommend that you purchase and attempt to install it into your 22-3/4" opening. This model has zero adjustments for width or out-of-plumb and your measurement is below the model's absolute minimum width tolerances. A:  The single panel Unidoor's will only work for the size mentioned, in this case a 25" opening. With a 26.6" opening, you would have to have a panel custom made through our Custom Glass Group.
