A:  DreamLine shower doors are sold for finished (tile-to-tile) openings, not for rough openings. The DreamLine 24" Unidoor that you are looking for is an exact-fit model. It has an installed dimension of 24" and does not have any adjustment for width or out-of-plumb walls. A finished (not rough) opening of 24-3/8" will leave a large gap between the wall and the edge of the 24" installed door and water could easily leak out of this gap. DreamLine does not offer any products that will allow you to expand the width of the 24" Unidoor shower door. With an opening your size, you will need to work with your Home Depot rep and DreamLine's Custom Glass Group to make a panel in the size that you would need. A:  We are not sure what you are requesting. Would you like the hinge plate measurement, where it attaches to the wall? That is 2-1/2" by 3". This Unidoor is designed to fit a 30" opening with plumb walls. In addition, you do need double studs or wood blocking behind the finished walls where the hinges are to be installed. A:  The 30" Unidoor (style A) model # SHDR-20307210F-01 has an installed dimension of 30"(w) x 72"(h) and this model has no adjustments for width or out-of-plumb walls. If your opening width is less than 30" at any point, the door will not fit the space. If you try to install this door and the opening is too small, the glass could hit the wall and fail (shatter). Please make sure your opening is the correct width for this model shower door before making your purchase. The hinges will come to you preset from the factory for outward swing but can be adjusted after the door is installed. A:  We strongly recommend that you install the base that will fit your space, finish the walls, and then measure for your shower door. A 30" base will not work with a 30" shower door.
