A:  No you can not install without shelf’s. The shelf’s help hold the stationary panel in place

A:  I would not use it without the shelves as designed. There are holes in the stationary glass wall to support the shelves. In addition, it provides the necessary stability to the stationary wall by triangulating with the side wall of the shower.

A:  All DreamLine shower doors and enclosures require smooth, solid finished walls, 90-degree angles where the wall meets the threshold and finished walls that are at least as tall as the shower door or enclosure. If the walls of your enclosure have any give or flex to them when you push on the wall, most likely there is a pocket of dead space behind the wall and the wall is not solid. Please make sure that your shower meets the requirements for installation before making your choice. A:  All of your measurements must be within the width range for the door. In your case, it sounds like you would need the Elegance that measures 56-1/2" to 58-1/4" wide. The model number for that shower door is SHDR-4156720-04. You can place that model number in The Home Depot search field and it will come up for you. A:  Unfortunately, the Elegance shower door is not available in frosted glass at this time. The Unidoor product collection can be customized through DreamLine's Custom Glass Group for a fully frosted version. You will need to work with your Home Depot representative and have them submit an email to cutomglass@dreamline.com with your finished dimensions and shower door requirements. A:  Thank you for reaching out to DreamLine. Part #10 Snap-in anti water strip(shorter) is installed to the glass profile on the pivot side of the door with the flange on the outside of your shower. Part #11, the bottom anti water strip, should be installed to the bottom of the moving panel. Part #28 is should be attached to the stationary panel with the flange on the inside of the door. We checked the manual link on homedepot.com and it does have instructions for installing these parts. A:  Sorry for the confusion. The glass panels themselves, are frameless. Different retailers edit our suggested headings, but the door is exactly the same among all of our retailers. We suggest enlarging the photos on your computer monitor to clearly see all of the features of the Elegance shower door. A:  You can, but you may experiencing leaking because the anti water strips will have to be positioned to the outside. Also, you will have to make sure the panel does not hit your plumbing fixtures. A better choice may be the DreamLine Encore bypass shower door (model #SHDR-1654760-06). This shower door features 2 sliding panels, allowing you to have access at either end of your shower. You can put that model number in The Home Depot search field and it will come up for you to view.
