A:  You can, but you may experiencing leaking because the anti water strips will have to be positioned to the outside. Also, you will have to make sure the panel does not hit your plumbing fixtures. A better choice may be the DreamLine Encore bypass shower door (model #SHDR-1654760-06). This shower door features 2 sliding panels, allowing you to have access at either end of your shower. You can put that model number in The Home Depot search field and it will come up for you to view. A:  No, the door is predrilled and the shelves are design to add stability to the door. I didn't think I would like them at first but after installing they look great and have become useful.

A:  Unfortunately, the glass shelves are the source of support for the stationary panel, so the door can not be ordered without them. A:  I didn’t order the inside of the shower we decided to go with tiles instead and the installer did slant the floor so the water would drain properly.The door wasn’t a problem we built the base with tile so the doors installed very well .dated December 29th 2019 would recommend this to anyone

A:  The DreamLine Elegance shower door should install perfectly on your shower base. All shower bases have some slope to the threshold, usually between 3-5°. If your space can not accommodate an outward opening shower door, you may want to consider the Encore Bypass Sliding Shower Door. It is available in a size to fit an opening 50" to 54" wide and the model number is SHDR-1654760-01. You can put that model number in the Home Depot search field and it will come up for you to view. A:  Shorty, DreamLine does have a Custom Glass division and The Home Depot will be able to help you with this. They will need to submit a drawing of what you need with accurate dimensions and a quote will be generated. You can then decide if you want to make the purchase. Tempered glass can not be cut, so you will not be able to purchase and cut afterwards. The glass must be cut to size before the tempering process. A:  MT, Unfortunately, the Elegance must be used with the shelves as they are a source of support for the stationary panel. Alternate doors would be the Unidoor or the Unidoor Plus. Both have models that will span an opening 60-61". The Unidoor has a support bar at the top, but the Unidoor Plus was designed to be used without a support arm or shelves. They are not pivot doors, but are hinged doors with the moving door mounted directly to a finished wall that has studs behind it. All of our pivot style doors have shelves on the stationary panel. We would recommend that you take your finished opening measurements at the top, middle and bottom of your opening and give the DreamLine Customer Support Team a call.
