A:  While the Mirage can be installed directly to your tiled floor, most installations of the door are on a shower base. If you enlarge the photos, the door is actually shown installed on a shower base, however.     A:  There is an adjustment in the rollers that can be made to help with this. We would also recommend that you check your threshold for level from side to side. If your base is out of level, this can be contributing to the sliding open that you are experiencing.       A:  Great question! Both the Mirage Shower Door and the Mirage-X Shower Door have a very open bottom guide rail that is easily cleaned and does not hold water. We recommend that you give the DreamLine Customer Support Team a call at your convenience and we will email or text photos of the two rails to you. We have both models installed in our showroom and would be glad to Skype or FaceTime with you to show you the guide rails, also.         Q:I had this door installed and water is leaking from the track onto the floor.Does the track need to be sealed w/silicon?

        A:  Yes, you will need to apply clear, waterproof, 100% silicone caulk to the inside of your installation. Please make certain that your shower is bone dry, even using a blow-dryer to dry it, before applying the caulk. Allow the caulk to cure for 24 hours, at least, before using the shower.           A:  The Mirage requires that your walls be plumb and your base be level. The Mirage is a frame-less door and has no ability to be adjusted for out of plumb conditions.             A:  Bev, the Mirage can be installed to tiled, finished walls and does not need studs behind the walls for installation. Please keep in mind that the Mirage is frameless and your walls must be plumb and the base level to be installed properly.               A:  angie, unfortunately we do not have a Mirage that would work for a 40" opening. We have many pivot or hinged doors that would work for that size, but no sliding or bypass doors.                 Q:dimensions of the support bar, please.

                A:  I provided and installed this for a customer of mine, not in my own home. I do not have access to go and measure for you at this time. If I remember the bar is somewhere around 27"-30" long. The shower that it was installed in was a 48" long and it is mounted on a diagonal from the short panel back to the wall. If you contact the manufacturer, they should be able to give you an exact measure

                A:  Barney, the support bar for the Mirage 48" door is 27" including the hardware. It should be angled out approximately 15" from the stationary panel for proper installation.
