A: No, and it is very cheaply made.

Q:I have this faucet and I can't figure out how to remove the plunger to clean it of hair. I have tried turning it in both directions with a gentle pull and can't feel where it disengages - does anyone know how to do it?

A: Dear CatsinQ,
Thank you for your question. If a stopper does not lift straight out, it is being held in by the horizontal rod. Behind the drain pipe under the sink is a horizontal rod connected to the lift rod via the strap. The horizontal rod is held in place by a nut. Remove the nut and pull the horizontal rod straight away from the pipe about an inch. The stopper should now come free of the drain.

A: You have to remove the lift lever under the sink at the back of the trap. The lever goes through a hole at the bottom of the pop up.

Q:We need to know if this will fit within our current backsplash. We now have a Moen faucet (do NOT buy! brand new and leaking after a few days) and have 2 3/4" from the backsplash to the beginning of the center base. Someone mentioned this one is very large, so we need to know if this will fit our current sink/backsplash space?

A: See the attached photos with measurements. Not sure if I addressed your specific question but perhaps this will help. The faucets are very nice and durable. We've had them installed now for about 5 or 6 years and they are like new still. No tarnish or blemish on the finish. Secure shut off. No drips, leaks, - no problems.

A: Hi Lynnie59,
Thank you for your question! We recommend having 2 1/2" or more between the center of the installation hole and the backsplash. This faucet should fit great as long as the holes are 6-16" on center and deck is 1 1/8" thick or less.
Best regards,
Jon

Answer This Question
A: Thank you for your question, Bud. The drain assembly can only be used in a sink with an overflow. However, you can use a push pop-up drain assembly such as the 72172-SS with this faucet. You may install the lift rod as a decorative piece.

Q:The drain assembly for this faucet doesn't work with my copper sink -- i need one without the holes in the sleeve or else the water will pour out under the sink. I love the stopper but need a sleeve that's threaded higher up with no holes. Does Delta make one? I want to use the stopper that comes with this faucet - i don't like the oversized popup drains that are available.

A: Hi, Frustrated.
Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, we do have a pop up drain assembly that is sold separately that is made without overflow holes. The pop up drain assembly is 72172. Here is a link to the assembly:
