A: This model has two ON/OFF buttons, one for a horizontal laser line and one for a vertical laser line . Each laser line is powered on by pressing its ON/OFF button. The laser lines can be powered one at a time or at the same time. Pressing the ON/OFF buttons again turns the laser lines off.

A: As with all lasers, when used indoors/outdoors, in bright sunlight in your project area, you may need to use glasses for use in viewing the red laser light.

A: So far so good in interior light, during the day but full disclosure have not used this outside in the daylight.
by|Jan 4, 2021
A: In some cases it’s very hard to see but I still try to use it as much as I can if someone is going to use the laser line outside in the sunlight more I suggest getting the laser line in a green light instead of red might be better for what someone is trying to do

Answer This Question
A: No you don't,
But with any red laser in a bright sunlit room, red glasses with help you see the line.
by|Jun 16, 2020
A: According to the User manual, this is a Class 2 laser product so it is eye safe and you don't need special safety glasses although these are always recommended. If not wearing safety glasses, you should not stare into the beam directly for extended periods of time because that can cause damage to the retina. I have always used mine without glasses but I am used to working with optical fibers and know the dangers of lasers.
by|Jun 16, 2020
A: No, however, regular safety glasses should be worn while doing any DIY project. Follow safety instructions included. It's like looking at the sun, a little glance won't hurt, but don't stare directly into the beam. The lines it makes on the wall are safe to look at. If they seem uncomfortably bright, then don't stare at them.

A: No. Just don't look into the laser light
by|Jun 16, 2020
A: No, and just flashing past your eyes is ok, it has happened to me many times, but you certainly don’t want to stare at the laser.

A: In most cases yes, unless the room is very long
by|May 6, 2023
A: You can place the unit backside to where the line hits the ceiling all the way to the back-wall while the line shoots across the room to the other wall and you'll have a line across the ceiling, easy.

A: Yes, laser will provide a horizontal, vertical line or both, from one end of a room to the other end.

A: Yes it will, but depending on where you place the level, the length of the room and the brightness of the room you may have difficulties seeing the line away from the Laser Level. I have a 50' line of sight in my basement and setting the laser level on the floor against one end wall, I can see the line at the opposite end of the room (along the ceiling and on the far wall) if I have few or no lights on. Turning on all the lights, I have to look extra hard to see the line.
