It is not designed, tested, labeled, marketed, or recommended for use as a kitchen and bath sealant. For kitchen and bath applications, we would recommend the use of more specialized kitchen and bath products, such as: KWIK SEAL ULTRA, AMP Advanced Modified Polymer Waterproof Kitchen, Bath and Plumbing Sealant or Silicone Max 100% Premium Kitchen and Bath Silicone Sealant. Given the use/application as described, we would recommend removal and replacement with a kitchen and bath rated sealant. The use of lacquer (solvent-based) finishes is not recommended, as solvents can damage latex sealants. A:  No. Not formulated for use in a shower. I use to seal cracks and seams prior to painting. I would use 100% silicone in shower.
