Q:Hello, I'm looking for brackets to hold up a trellis on the outside of my house. Are these brackets okay to use outside or would they rust? Thank you!

Answer This Question
A: Most likely they will rust, as the material and the specification says it's steel. In order to get something that wouldn't rust you need to get either aluminum, zinc plated steel, or Chrome plated steel.

A: I used them inside. They have held up perfectly so far, but I can’t speak to whether they will rustS

A: I use the brackets indoors however they appear to be heavy and sturdy enough to be used outdoors. Not 100% sure yet I can’t imagine they would rust. Use brass or painted head screws of course.
