A:  After ceiling has been installed, it’s quite simple to change out a damaged ceiling tille.

A:  Not easy, at least it wasn't easy for me. I had to remove a few tiles in my laundry area to run some plumbing lines. The space is limited so it is quite a chore.

A:  Not easy. But it can be done in way longer than 10 seconds. You have to pull, at least one long strip. Once they';re snapped in, it's quit difficult to remove them.

A:  Very easy as the tiles are very flexible. Should be able to change a tile in less than 10 seconds.

A:  My best advice is to find the video on YouTube and watch it. It was really helpful.

Our surface mount system only drops below your floor joists approximately 1 1/8", we do not recommend using a tile over 3/4" in thickness with this specific grid system. A:  That should work. Keep in mind the clearance you create needs to be adequate for the lights you plan to install.

All lighting fixtured should be fastened to an existing substrate or joist and not reliant solely on the grid components to support their weight. A:  You would have to first attach some type of boards to the ceiling (if it is concrete). Probably set them at 16" on center and all around the perimeter. Then attach the hardware to those boards.

Our cross tees must be used as a spacer when installing your top hanger components to ensure the correct distance between in order to accommodate your tiles. The kit includes seven 8 ft. top hangers, seven 8 ft. runners, (25) 2 ft. cross tees, and six 8 ft. wall brackets. We recommend purchasing 10% overage for any project needs. A:  Thank you for your interest in our products! Our CeilingMAX components are sold in kits. We offer both a 64 sq. ft. kit, as well as a 100 sq. ft. kit. We recommend ordering based off the sq. footage of your project area, with a 10% overage for any project needs. If you have additional questions, please feel free to reach out to us at 800.434.3750. A:  16X24= 384 Sq. Ft. Each kit is 64 Sq. Ft. 384/64= 6 You need 6 kits.

A:  For your 16 x 24 cabin, you're going to need 12 wall brackets. Now if you use 2x4 panels, Installing them long ways (6 panels running the 24') you'll need 5 Top hangers and Runners, and 42 Cross Tees. If you run the 2x4 panels on the short wall (4 panels running the 16') You'll need 9 top hangers and runners, and 44 Cross Tees. In either case, you'll need 2 - 100 sqr foot kits in order to get the required Cross Tees. Now if you're going with 2x2 panels, you'll need either 96 or 88 Cross Tees and 11 or 7 Top hangers and runners. Since HD doesn't sell packs of Cross Tees, you'll need 4 kits. This is all assuming it's a 1 room 16x24 cabin with no walls.
