Questions and Answers for Ceilingmax 100 sq. ft. Ceiling Grid Kit in Copper Fantasy

A:  Thank you for your interest in our CeilingMAX system! To remove a tile once the ceiling grid is installed, you will first need to unsnap a runner on one side of the tile. To unsnap the runner, you will need to start at the end of the runner and pull down. The runner will pull away from the top hanger, similar to a zip-lock bag. When you have the runner unsnapped, you will then be able to rock the cross tees and remove the tile(s). After you have the runner removed, you could also back out the screw in the top hanger near the tile you would like to remove. This would allow you to twist and flex the top hanger to get the cross tee and tile out. After your work behind the tile is complete, (screw the top hanger back into place if the screw was removed), slide the tile back into place, once again rocking the cross tees, and snap the runner back into the top hanger. if you have any additional questions please feel free to reach out to us at 800.434.3750. A:  Thank you for you interest in our CeilingMAx Grid Kits! You should have enough overage using 5 of our 100 sq. ft. kit systems for your project needs if you have 407 sq. ft. of area to cover. Our system is designed to be used with either a 2' x 2' or 2' x 4' tile, if you are using a 2' x 4' panel you will have extra cross tees left over from your kit. A:  Thank you for your great question. Our wall brackets on our white grid kits are able to be inverted if you are starting your application with a full sized, revealed edge tile. Unfortunately, it will not work to do so with our finished components as they are not foiled around the underside of the wall bracket so we do not recommend doing so with any of our finishes. However, we do not carry any of our matching Fasade lay in ceiling tiles in a revealed edge tile so our customers do not run into this issue. A:  Thank you for your interest in our CeilingMAX ceiling grid kit! The kit can be installed over popcorn ceiling as long as it's being attached to the joists behind the ceiling.
